The Vice President of Sales and Services at Khorasan Razavi Electric Power Distribution Company stated: The memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the smart grid development of the province’s power network was signed in line with the directives of the Supreme Leader and the policies of the 13th Government, aiming to expand capacities and create synergy with one of the knowledge-based companies.
According to Qods Khorasan, Mehdi Dehghan said: The MoU for smart grid implementation, with a focus on enhancing resilience and reducing power imbalance during peak consumption periods, was signed between the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidency (Secretary of the Energy Development Headquarters), the CEO of Khorasan Razavi Electric Power Distribution Company, and the CEO of the knowledge-based company Behpouyan Amin Montazer in Mashhad.
He explained:
The objectives of this MoU include implementing an intelligent consumption management system, optimizing agricultural wells through mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence, and upgrading or modifying installed electrical and mechanical equipment to increase well efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
