In line with the directives of the Supreme Leader and the policies of the 13th Government aimed at capacity development, creating synergy, and realizing a knowledge-based economy, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed to support the smart management of electricity networks with a focus on enhancing resilience and reducing power imbalance during peak consumption periods.
The MoU was signed between:
Dr. Akbar Zamaniyan, Secretary of the Energy Development Headquarters at the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Eng. Mohsen Zabihi, CEO of Khorasan Razavi Electric Power Distribution Company
Eng. Morteza Taghvaei Hosseinzadeh, CEO of Behpouyan Amin Montazer Knowledge-Based Company
According to the Public Relations Department of Behpouyan, during the meeting, the CEO of the company outlined the main objectives of this memorandum of understanding as follows:
- Implementation of an intelligent consumption management system and optimization of agricultural wells through mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence, along with upgrading or modifying installed electrical and mechanical equipment to improve well efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Assisting in the optimal management of power imbalance in the country.
- Energy saving and reduction of electricity consumption.
- Maximizing farmers’ participation in load and electricity consumption management.
- Enhancing the country’s scientific standing in the field of artificial intelligence, particularly in industrial applications.
Eng. Morteza Taghvaei Hosseinzadeh further added:
«در این حوزه نرم‌افزار هوشمندی ایجاد کرده‌ایم که به‌صورت ساعتی مصرف بار ذی‌نفعان را پیش‌بینی می‌کند و حدود ۹۸ درصد دقت دارد. این پلتفرم هوشمند بر اساس پیش‌بینی، نقطه‌ی بهینه را پیدا می‌کند تا بتواند رضایت بیشتری برای ذی‌نفعان فراهم کند.»”In this field, we have developed an intelligent software that predicts stakeholders’ load consumption on an hourly basis with approximately 98% accuracy. Based on these predictions, this smart platform identifies the optimal point to maximize satisfaction for the stakeholders.”
گفتنی است، برای پیشبرد و نظارت بر اجرای صحیح این موافقت‌نامه، کمیته راهبری «پیک‌سازی در چاه‌های کشاورزی» در معاونت علمی ریاست جمهوری تشکیل و بر عملکرد صحیح اجرای موضوع توافق‌نامه نظارت خواهد کرد.It is noteworthy that, to advance and oversee the proper implementation of this memorandum of understanding, a Steering Committee for “Peak Management in Agricultural Wells” has been established within the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, which will supervise the accurate execution of the agreement’s provisions.
