According to Behpouyan’s Information Center, following the official invitation of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, the Honorable Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, a delegation of Behpouyan managers attended the Iraq Investment and Technology Event.
During this visit, the delegation presented the scientific and technological capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, showcasing Behpouyan’s achievements and innovations in various advanced fields.
Foreign Trade Consultation Meetings with Iraqi Partners
As part of the company’s participation in this event, foreign trade consultation meetings with Iraqi counterparts—organized by Behpouyan’s commercial team—played a significant role in achieving the valuable outcomes of this visit.
Behpouyan Executive Delegation’s Series of High-Level Meetings and Engagements in Iraq
As part of its intensive program during the visit, the senior management team of Behpouyan Knowledge-Based Company held a series of coordination and planning sessions with Iraqi counterparts to prepare for participation in the Iraq International Investment Conference.
The delegation attended the International Investment Conference of Iraq, which was graced by the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister, ministers, and senior officials of the Republic of Iraq.
During the visit, Behpouyan representatives also participated in meetings at the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Minerals, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Electricity, Ministry of Trade, and Ministry of Construction and Housing.
In addition, they held specialized presentations for the Najaf Investment Commission, attended expert panels, and met with senior decision-makers at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Further diplomatic and economic meetings included a session with the Economic Deputy of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, and a meeting with the Executive Deputy Governor of Najaf Al-Ashraf Province, all of which contributed to the strategic objectives of the company’s mission.
Key Achievements of the Visit
The visit also resulted in several significant achievements, including the establishment of memorandums of understanding (MoUs), the initial approvals for inclusion in the vendor lists of Iraqi ministries, the development of cooperation and investment models, and the obtaining of necessary approvals for the establishment and launch of production lines for equipment required by Iraq.
These outcomes mark important steps toward strengthening industrial and technological collaboration between the two countries.
